Mari Hercher, PT, DPT
Mari Hercher was raised in southern California and earned her undergraduate degree in psychobiology at UCLA, where she developed an interest in the brain-body connection and it's effect on physical performance. After earning her doctorate in physical therapy at UCSF, she found herself settling into the local bay area community to provide care that focuses on helping people heal physically and build resilience for the future. With experience working with chronic pain, traumatic and cumulative injuries, and post-operative patients, Mari loves working with patients who look at their health as a long-term investment and want help preparing for a healthy future.
What makes us different?
Vitality Physical Therapy's goal is to be of service to the individual and the community. As a movement artist and athlete herself, Mari understands needing to get back to full function as quickly as possible.
To provide a higher quality of care, appointments are a full hour spent with the provider to collect relevant data and develop a clear plan of care that incorporates your goals. Our goal is to find the cause of the problem and treat it, not just the symptoms resulting from it - to get you better, faster.
Additionally, we value accessibility of high quality care, so services are offered on a sliding scale upon request. This is made possible by working on a cash-pay basis, and superbills can be created for possible reimbursement by your insurance.
